Name: Dimitri Payet
Almost unarguably the best signing of the season; it is little surprise this man is crowned West Ham United’s Player of the Month for March, whenever Dimitri Payet features for the Hammers, they look significantly more threatening.
The 29-year-old, who is set to star for France at the Euro 2016 Championships in his homeland this summer, arrived at the Boleyn Ground from Ligue 1 outfit Marseille back in June 2015 in a deal worth more than £10m.
Payet, who has 17 international caps to his name now, has scored a remarkable 12 goals and provided 11 further assists in 31 appearances in all competitions for Slaven Bilic’s side so far this term.
March’s proceedings was nothing short of spectacular once more from the Frenchman, with the central midfielder netting one goal and three assists in three Premier League outings.
The highlight being a last-gasp winner inside Goodison Park after sealing a thrilling 3-2 win for the Hammers away to Everton, even after the visitors fell two goals behind with only 13 minutes remaining!
