Premier League outfit West Ham are ready to let winger Robert Snodgrass leave the club just six months after signing from Hull City, according to The Daily Mirror.

The 29-year-old seriously impressed for the Tigers in the first half of the 2016/17 campaign, scoring seven goals and laying on three assists for the North East club, thus earning a £10.2 million move to the London Stadium in January.

However, things haven’t gone according to plan for the Scotland international in East London, having started just eight times in the Premier League under Slaven Bilic, and failing to net in 15 appearances overall, equating to 838 minutes of action.

And it appears that Bilic is willing to let the midfielder leave the club this summer, as the Hammers look at how they can improve their squad after a frustrating campaign last time out.

Bilic’s men laboured to an 11th place finish in the top-flight, a far cry away from their stunning seventh place effort the season before, and the Croat will be under pressure next term to take the club back near to that level.

And that means that he simply cannot afford players like Snodgrass not pulling their weight, but given his sensational efforts for Hull less than a year ago, he would be quite a coup for other top-flight sides.

And with Newcastle reportedly interested in recent times, as well as interest from Brighton and the Championship trio of Middlesbrough, Sheffield Wednesday, and Sunderland, it seems that Snodgrass will have plenty of suitors should West Ham make him available for transfer over the coming weeks and months.
