Darren Randolph (West Ham)
Not the name you may have expected to see here, but Randolph has stepped up and made himself a hero towards the end of the qualifying campaign. After replacing the injured Shay Given against Germany in October, the Hammers stopper helped his side keep a clean sheet and claimed the assist for Shane Long in the famous 1-0 victory. He then followed that up with a solid display in both play-off matches to see his side qualify for Euro 2016. His problem now could be getting game time at his club, something he may need to do to keep his place in the Irish goal.
