West Ham are eyeing up a move for Manchester United winger Memphis Depay as a replacement for wantaway playmaker Dimitri Payet, according to reports from Foot Mercato journalist, Khaled Karouri.

France international, Payet, has informed manager Slaven Bilic that he no longer wants to play for the Hammers and is looking to leave the London Stadium.

However, the Croatian has stood firm and made it clear that the east London side are by no means looking to sell in the January window.

Depay has been unsettled and cast aside at Old Trafford since the arrival of Jose Mourinho over the summer, and has been linked with a move away from Manchester this month.

The former PSV Eindhoven man had a sensational record in the Dutch leagues but has not shown the same record since he was brought to the Premier League by Louis Van Gaal.

The Hammers, however, will reportedly face competition from Premier League rivals Everton who are also in the running for the Netherlands international.
