League One Hot: Bolton Wanderers

Bolton Wanderers put financial uncertainty to one side as they put four past Walsall at the Macron Stadium, to move within four points of the automatic promotion places.

Erhun Oztumer’s 40-yard pile-driver gave the visitors an early advantage, however, Wanderers recovered by scoring three before the break through Gary Madine, James O’Conner turning into his own net, and Liam Trotter, before Chris Long added a fourth late in the second-half.

After a testing week, Bolton are back to winning ways, and they host Rochdale on Tuesday.
