What’s Hot and What’s Not from the EFL

League One Hot: Bolton Wanderers

Bolton Wanderers ended a four-game winless run in style by putting four past Uwe Rosler’s in-form Fleetwood Town at Highbury.

Phil Parkinson’s Trotters moved up to third after beating the Cod Army on the Fylde Coast, in an efficient display which reignited their automatic promotion ambitions.

Adam Le Fondre opened the scoring after 17 minutes when his cross from the right looped over goalkeeper Alex Cairns, before David Wheater (Above) added a second shortly after, prodding home from Filipe Morais’ free-kick.

Town were back in it through Kyle Dempsey, but Mark Beevers scored a third after the break.

Morais added his third assist for Le Fondre to complete his brace with a header, prior to Bobby Grant pulling one back late on.
