The David De Gea saga rumbles on…will he? Won’t he? Will Manchester United let their prized possession go for free next summer? One thing’s for sure, the Red Devils aren’t hanging about lining up the replacements! Last week, they announced the signing of Argentina international keeper, Sergio Romero on a free transfer. Whether or not he’s the man to replace De Gea is debatable. However, he joins a long line of keepers who, since the exit of the great Peter Schmeichel, have been entrusted with the daunting task of protecting the sticks at the Theatre of Dreams.

We at Shoot thought it might be a good idea to take a look back at a few of United’s goal keeping custodians and ask, where are they now?
