Only the second player not to still be at the club nearly four years later is left-back, Bertrand.

The 27-year-old decided to switch Blue for Red in the shirt of Southampton, joining the Saints on a permanent deal in February 2015, after enduring a bucket load of loan spells away from Stamford Bridge with seven different clubs.

However, after impressing at St Mary’s Stadium, and realising his first-team opportunities at Chelsea would still be limited, Bertrand sealed his future with the south coast outfit, where he has since racked up 77 appearances for Southampton and 10 international caps for England.
