Didier Drogba scored two of his 104 Premier League goals in the 6-0 win over City nine years ago, and will go down as one of Chelsea’s all time great strikers.

The 38-year-old moved to Stamford Bridge in 2004, and went on to make 341 appearances and scored 157 goals in his first spell in West London, which ended in 2012.

In that time, he won three Premier League titles, four FA Cups, and the Champions League, and was twice the club’s top-scorer, in the 2006/07 campaign as well as the 2009/10 season.

Despite leaving in 2012, Drogba returned to Chelsea in 2014 for a season, and netted seven goals in 40 games for the Blues as they regained the Premier League title.

Chelsea’s fourth all time top goal-scorer, the 104-time Ivorian international now plays in the MLS with Montreal Impact.
