Antonio Conte’s Chelsea travel to Manchester City on Saturday going in search of an eighth successive Premier League victory.

The Blues have been in unbelievable form since the Italian changed the system to incorporate a back three after their 3-0 defeat to Arsenal, and since then they have won seven league games on the spin, and conceded just one goal in the process.

Consequently, Conte’s men have shot to the top of the Premier League table, but face a stern test away at Pep Guardiola’s City at the weekend.

City have won three of their last four league games but haven’t tasted success at the Etihad Stadium in the league since September 24, with Everton, Southampton, and Middlesbrough all leaving the North West with a point.

They will come up against an in-form and confident Chelsea side on Saturday, who know that a win will open up a four-point gap over Guardiola’s men.
