Twenty-sixteen has proved to be a mixed bag of fortunes for the Baggies, much like the first-half of their season back in 2015, so there is little wonder their current form in 2016 would only see them rise one place in the overall standings.

West Brom, who currently sit 14th in the English top-flight standings, lie 13 points above the drop zone with only six games remaining of the 2015-16 campaign – so it would take a miracle for Tony Pulis’ side to be dragged into a frantic relegation battle come the final day of term.

However the Baggies have continued their inconsistent run of form by collecting 17 points from a possible 39 on offer since the turn of the new calender year – enduring four wins, five draws and four losses in the process.

Despite having little left to play for; other than pride and the willingness to finish above the likes of Everton, Swansea and AFC Bournemouth perhaps in the league table, Pulis’ men did pull off a fine of form between February and March [2016], picking up an impressive 10 points from a possible 12 on offer after defeating Everton, Crystal Palace and Manchester United in a four-game unbeaten streak.
