Who should Gary Monk sell this month?

After a rocky start to the season, former Swansea manager Gary Monk has steady the ship at Leeds United, having guided his side into contention for a play-off spot.

The Whites saved their blushes in the FA Cup on Monday night, coming from 1-0 down against Cambridge United to win 2-1 and secure a play in the fourth round.

The three-time English champions currently sit fifth in the Championship and are on a run of five wins from their last six, which started with a win over fellow promotion chasers, Jaap Stam’s Reading.

With the January window now upon us, managers across the football league will be looking at how best to prepare their side for the back-end of the campaign.

Monk will be no different, having already signed Pablo Hernandez on a permanent deal having spent the first half of the season on loan at Elland Road.

It is not only in-comings that managers have to consider, however, Monk will be keen to look at the players he can afford to get of the wage bill this month.
