Why Paulo Dybala would be the perfect addition for Mourinho’s Manchester United

Need more to help Ibrahimovic

Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has scored 26 goals for Manchester United this season, and when the next highest goal-scorer is Juan Mata with nine, it’s clear that the Red Devils are overly reliant on the 35-year-old.

And given that he is yet to commit his future to the club, with his contract up in the summer, Mourinho has to be looking at players that can either help the Swede should he stay, or indeed fill the void if he leaves.

Dybala could be that man.

The 23-year-old scored 19 goals in just 34 Serie A games last term to help Massimiliano Allegri’s side win the title by nine points, and although he has had a few injury troubles this season, he has still managed seven goals and five assists in 20 league matches.

Dybala backs himself every time he gets close to goal, and given that he is strong, holds the ball up well, and can also take defenders on with his turn of pace, he has all the traits of being an excellent striker in the Premier League.

United need more goals in the team – Dybala would surely give them that.
