The best players never stop learning, and with Antonio Conte having only just arrived at Stamford Bridge, Fabregas should stay to learn the methods of one of the most celebrated coaches within the game.

Leaving on loan for the remainder of the campaign could actually hinder Fabragas’ chances of long-term success at Chelsea. As everyone else in the squad develops and adjust to the Italians style, the Spaniard would be elsewhere.

Unless Fabregas were to tear up some serious trees during his six-month stay at West Ham it’s difficult to imagine him returning in a better position than he’s currently in now. He should be focusing on learning Conte’s methods and having an impact on the team during the busy upcoming festive period.
