Morgan Schneiderlin is in the midst of a transfer storm with a a host of Premier League clubs rumoured to be interested in signing Frenchman this January.

Schneiderlin has only made two appearances in the league so far this season and didn’t even manage to make it off the bench during last week’s EFL cup victory over West Ham.

It’s clear that Jose Mourinho doesn’t rate the 27-year-old, meaning he’ll likely be made available this coming January. Should Schneiderlin rediscover the form that got him his big money move to United in the first place, he’ll be a major asset for any Premier League club that signs him.

Tottenham will be looking for reinforcements as they look to qualify for the Champions League for a second successive season, and who knows, maybe even push for the title.

The Lilywhites are yet to hit full stride this season but still find themselves in a respectable position, three points from the top four, and seven from first place.

If Schneiderlin were to come in and settle quickly he could make Tottenham even more difficult to beat than they already are. With that said here are TWO reasons why Tottenham should move for Schneiderlin this January.
