Wales go into their 2018 World Cup qualifier against Serbia in need of victory after a slow start to the campaign.

Chris Coleman’s side have won one and drawn the other two of their opening group games, the last of which was a frustrating 1-1 at home to Georgia last month.

Nonetheless, the Euro 2016 semi-finalists are third in Group D, and know a victory over the group leaders on Saturday could be enough to see them go top of the pile.

Unsurprisingly, Wales will be looking to their star man Gareth Bale as they look to get the three points, and reproduce some of that form we all saw in France during the summer.

However, they come up against a Serbia side that have won two and drawn the other one so far, and will look to their 6-1 win over the Welsh four years ago for inspiration on Saturday.

On the pitch, they’ve got Southampton’s Dusan Tadic in their squad, and he will look to continue his fine form for both club and country in Cardiff on Saturday.

So, with these two key players set to go head-to-head on Saturday, here is how Bale and Tadic match up in the league this season…
