If Vincent Kompany is anywhere near as injury-prone on FIFA as he appears to be in reality, City fans may want to invest in another central defender.

You’d be left with Nicolas Otamendi and John Stones – two good defenders but certainly not the top five in the world. And you might need some of the best in the world to go on and win European titles.

Atletico Madrid’s Diego Godin would be an excellent signing.

In reality, City reportedly targeted the Uruguayan centre-half last summer but Godin signed a new deal with the Spanish club, yet he’s that good a defender on FIFA, with an overall rating of 88, that you should go all out to sign him.

His passing is pretty good, he’s a very physical centre-back but, most importantly, he’s one of the best defensive players on the game, and would be a fantastic addition to the City squad.
