Young Arsenal attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe has made such an impact, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has cooled his interest in Real Madrid’s Isco, according to reports in Spain from AS

Just a few weeks ago, things were looking very bleak for Arteta and his Arsenal side. The Gunners could not buy a win in the Premier League.

On top of that, Arteta clearly didn’t know his best eleven and many of his top players were simply not performing to the levels expected of them.

However, that all seemed to change around when Arteta mixed up his selection with young players and the North London outfit comprehensively beat Chelsea.

Arteta was under a lot of pressure a few weeks ago.

Since then, Arsenal have beaten both Brighton & Hove Albion and West Bromwich Albion away from home, the latter with a comprehensive 4-0 victory.

One of the main catalysts behind this turnaround in fortunes, is young attacking midfielder Smith Rowe who has been given the chance by Arteta and grabbed it with both hands.

At just 20-years-old the Academy graduate has made a real impact in the team, which has prompted Arteta to cool off his January plans for Real Madrid midfielder Isco according to AS.
