Real Madrid are targeting Tottenham captain Harry Kane as part of a £345million spending spree this summer, according to CalcioMercato.

The England international captain has frequently been linked with a move away to Spain, with Los Blancos appearing to be the current side that have reignite their interest in the striker.

Kane has been in electric form this season, scoring 15 in 23 appearances, including a goal last weekend in a 2-1 defeat to Burnley.

It is reported that Madrid are looking to spend big to rebuild their front line, which has dropped in standard following the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo with new manager Santiago Solari preferring to deploy Welshman Gareth Bale as an impact substitute.

Juventus’ Paulo Dybala and Paris Saint Germain’s Neymar are also amongst the impressive list of superstars being linked with a move to the Bernabeu.

Kane won the Golden Boot at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Tottenham however are determined to keep their number nine in North London for the duration of his contract, which was recently extended to 2024.

Spurs take on Arsenal this weekend in the North London derby. Kane, who has scored 161 times in 245 matches for the club, will have his side fired up and seeking revenge after losing 4-2 to the Gunners earlier this season.
