The victory meant that Antonio Conte’s men equalled Arsenal’s record of 13 consecutive wins in a single season, and now they will turn their attentions to breaking that record when they face Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Wednesday.

Liverpool’s 2-2 draw at Sunderland on Monday means that the Blues are five points clear at the top of the division ahead of Wednesday’s encounter, but they’ll find it tricky against Mauricio Pochettino’s side, who are unbeaten in all nine of their home league games this season.

Nonetheless, Conte’s men are in a wonderful position going into the second half of the season, yet the Italian may still want a few more reinforcements in January in a bid to regain the Premier League title.
