Manchester United maintained the pressure on the Premier League’s top four courtesy of a comfortable 3-0 win over champions Leicester on Sunday.

Jose Mourinho’s men had seen both Arsenal and Liverpool lose earlier in the weekend, so would’ve sensed a great opportunity to get right back in the hunt for Champions League qualification.

And goals from Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Juan Mata secured an easy victory for the Red Devils, who have moved to within two points of Arsene Wenger’s Gunners in fourth after they lost at leaders Chelsea on Saturday.

It was clearly a very good weekend for United, who in turn extended their unbeaten league run to 15 games after the win, with their last defeat coming all the way back in October against Antonio Conte’s Chelsea.

Many felt that January represented a good opportunity for Mourinho to add to his squad ahead of an assault on the top four, but it was the outgoings that took centre-stage at Old Trafford, with the likes of Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay securing moves away from the club.

However, there may still be a few players at United who are questioning their futures in Manchester, so here are TWO that really needed to leave the club in January…
