Brendan Rodgers made the move north of the border to take over at Celtic in the summer, and has made a solid start to life in Glasgow.

The former Liverpool manager, sacked at Anfield just over a year ago, has led his side to an unbeaten start in the Scottish Premiership, having won eight of their first nine matches.

Only Inverness have taken points off Celtic in the first few months of the season, a feat Rangers were unable to manage in the first Old Firm league match since their demotion down the Scottish Football League pyramid.

Rodgers’ men thrashed their rivals 5-1 at Celtic Park last month, and also got the better of Mark Warburton’s side in the Scottish League Cup semi-final at Hampden Park on Sunday, with Moussa Dembele’s goal enough to see Celtic through to the final.

However, it hasn’t all been great for Rodgers, as his Celtic side have struggled in the Champions League this season. They were hammered 7-0 by Barcelona and although they secured a draw against Manchester City, they then lost 2-0 at home to Borussia Monchengladbach, a result which leaves them bottom of the group.

Consequently, Rodgers may look to reinforce his squad in the January transfer window, and here are THREE forwards he should look to sign when the window reopens…
