3 forwards Celtic should look to sign in January

A player who has been hugely prolific at Championship level, but Jordan Rhodes hasn’t been given much of an opportunity in the Premier League this season.

The striker has been one of the most clinical forwards in the second tier over the last four years but, since he helped Middlesbrough win promotion last season, he has appeared just three times in the top-flight, starting just once.

It’s quite surprising for a player who has netted 92 times in the Championship not to get much of a chance, especially as Aitor Karanka’s Boro have struggled in front of goal so far.

Nevertheless, Rhodes may seek a move in January, and could be tempted if Celtic express an interest.
