Hal Robson-Kanu was a player that lit up the European Championships in the summer, with that goal against Belgium a particular highlight of an incredible few weeks for Wales.

He went into the tournament as a free agent after ending his nine-year stay at Reading, and signed for West Brom on the final day of the transfer window.

However, he has yet to start a league game for Tony Pulis’ side, with in-form striker Salomon Rondon keeping him out of the starting eleven.

With Saido Berahino also still at the club, Robson-Kanu may wonder where he next first team start will come from, and could be tempted to seek a loan move away from the Hawthorns in January.

It was Rodgers who gave Robson-Kanu his senior debut at Reading seven years ago, and he might want to reunite with the 27-year-old at Celtic.
