3 forwards Everton should look to sign in January

This has already been earmarked as a potential transfer for Everton in January, and it’s hardly surprising that they’d want to go after Watford’s Troy Deeney.

The Hornets striker has adapted to Premier League life brilliantly since promotion with the Hertfordshire club in 2015, and he now looks like he has been playing at the top level all his career.

The Englishman, who has so far been a touch unfortunate not to get a national team call-up, scored 15 times for Watford last season as they comfortably avoided relegation, but it was his all-round play, specifically his partnership with Odion Ighalo, which was praised by many.

Strong, powerful, and excellent at holding the ball up, Deeney would be an asset to this Everton side, and would certainly bolster Koeman’s attacking options.
