3 forwards Everton should look to sign in January

Napoli’s Manolo Gabbiadini was on Everton’s radar over the summer, but the Toffees couldn’t quite get a deal done.

However, the Italian appears to have fallen down the pecking order in Naples, starting just five Serie A games this season and scoring just the one goal.

To make matters worse for the 24-year-old, he got sent off after just half an hour in Napoli’s 2-1 win at Crotone on Sunday.

As Everton tried to sign the Italian in the summer, they may consider going in for him again if his first team opportunities continue to be restricted.

There’s clearly interest in the forward, and it might be worth following up in January.
