3 huge EFL clashes to keep an eye on this evening

Fulham v Blackburn Rovers

Slavisa Jokanovic’s Fulham will look to break into the Championship’s top six with victory over a resurgent Blackburn this evening.

The Cottagers are just two points adrift of sixth place Sheffield Wednesday going into tonight’s clash at Craven Cottage, after a run of form which has seen them win five of their last seven league matches, drawing the other two.

It gives them the opportunity to break into the top six with victory tonight, but Blackburn have been in fine form since the arrival of Tony Mowbray on February 22.

Rovers have won two and drawn the other three of their five league matches since his appointment, and although it hasn’t moved them out of the bottom three, they are now level on points with 21st place Bristol City, and just three points adrift of 18th place Burton Albion.

Nonetheless, with just two away wins all season, it’s going to be a tough ask for Mowbray’s men this evening against a Fulham side that have lost just one of their last 12 home league games.
