Championship leaders Newcastle United visit Wolves while second place Brighton host struggling Burton Albion in what could be a crucial weekend in the EFL.

Rafa Benitez’s Magpies, who currently sit a point clear of Brighton, will go in search of a 21st league win of the campaign at Molineux on Saturday (5.30pm kick-off), while Chris Hughton’s Seagulls, who have taken just one point from their last two games, welcome Nigel Clough’s Burton to the AMEX Stadium tomorrow.

Third place Reading host play-off chasers Barnsley at the Madejski Stadium, while David Wagner’s Huddersfield, who beat both Brighton and Leeds last week, travel to Queens Park Rangers.

In League One, leaders Sheffield United go to eighth place Peterborough United, while second place Scunthorpe United host relegation-threatened Shrewsbury Town at Glanford Park tomorrow.

The big game in League Two sees in-form Exeter City make the short trip to Plymouth Argyle for the Devon derby, while runaway leaders Doncaster Rovers will look to extend their lead at the top when they visit bottom side Newport County this evening.

Thus, it should be a fascinating weekend of action in the EFL, but here are THREE games in particular that you should keep a close eye on over the course of the next few days…
