Premier League leaders Chelsea remain in pole position to regain the title after drawing 1-1 at rivals Liverpool on Tuesday night.

Antonio Conte’s men went into the clash at Anfield eight points clear of second place Tottenham, and that gap looked set to be 11 when David Luiz put them ahead on Merseyside with an excellent free-kick that caught Jurgen Klopp’s side unaware.

However, the Reds hit back in the second half through Georginio Wijnaldum to end a run of three straight home defeats, but it means that they remain 10 points behind the Blues in the table with just 15 games to go.

Thus, it appears to be Chelsea’s title to lose given that they have lost just once in their last 17 league matches, and don’t have any European commitments to worry about between now and the end of the season.

Nonetheless, some still felt that the Blues were lacking in some areas ahead of the second half of the campaign, and that manager Conte should have dived into the January transfer market to strengthen his squad.

Yet, Chelsea were one of several Premier League clubs not to bring anybody in during the window despite being linked with many top-quality players, and here are THREE massive deals that the Blues missed out on last month…
