Isco’s Real Madrid future looked set to be resolved in January, although no new deal has been signed or transfer secured for the Spaniard.

The 24-year-old midfielder has been on the peripheries of the first team for much of the season, starting just nine of 19 La Liga games this term, as well as playing just 67 minutes of Champions League football thus far.

The Spanish international, who many will remember changed the game for his country to help them come from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with England last November, is a quality player who should be playing more regularly, which is why the likes of Tottenham and Man United were reportedly interested in the playmaker.

However, neither side were able to get a deal completed last month, yet expect the interest to intensify come the summer should Isco see first team chances remain restricted in the coming months.
