3 midfielders Arsenal should look to sign in January

Arsenal were heavily linked with signing last season’s PFA Players’ Player of the year Riyad Mahrez in the summer, but the Algerian signed a new deal to remain at Leicester.

Mahrez was sensational in helping the Foxes win the Premier League last season, netting 17 goals and laying on 11 assists as Claudio Ranieri’s side achieved the impossible.

However, Leicester’s lowly league position this time around could persuade the 25-year-old to consider his options again in January.

Ranieri’s side are 12th in the Premier League, nine points behind Arsenal, and that could give the Gunners an opportunity to get their man in January.
