3 midfielders Arsenal should look to sign in January

One of Arsenal’s biggest weaknesses in recent years has been their physicality in the middle of the park and, although that it perhaps unfair on Francis Coquelin, who has done well, many believe that is what has limited their title ambitions in recent seasons.

However, with Yaya Toure looking likely to leave Manchester City in the future, unless his agent apologises to manager Pep Guardiola, he could the man Arsenal need in that midfield.

The Ivorian is a proven Premier League midfielder and, although he is sometimes ill-disciplined in the more defensive role, he can still do a good job of controlling the game and launching attacks.

If he becomes available in January, Wenger should try his hardest to bring him to the Emirates.
