Brendan Rodgers made the move to Glasgow in the summer, and has begun his reign as Celtic boss in decent fashion.

The former Liverpool manager, sacked at Anfield last year, has won nine of his first ten Scottish Premiership games – the latest of which a 1-0 win away at Aberdeen on Saturday.

Rodgers also guided the club through the tricky qualifying rounds of the Champions League, although their participation in the main competition may not last too long, as the Bhoys have picked up just one point from their first three matches ahead of their trip to Borussia Monchengladbach on Tuesday.

Nonetheless, Celtic are into the Scottish League Cup final – a title they have only won once in the last seven years – at the expense of Old Firm rivals Rangers, with Moussa Dembele’s goal enough to send the Bhoys to the final.

However, Rodgers knows the importance of the January window for his side, given that the Champions League qualifying starts in mid-July, so he may look to reinforce his squad for a better shot at Europe next season.

Thus, here are THREE midfielders he could look to sign in January…
