3 nailed on signs that Arsene Wenger is leaving Arsenal this summer

He has taken them as far as they can

One of the biggest signs that Wenger won’t be Arsenal manager next season have been the performances on the pitch.

Despite the Gunners finishing second in the Premier League last season, they seem to be getting further and further away from the top, and their defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League demonstrates the widening gap between themselves and Europe’s elite.

However, it seems that that gap has been getting bigger for the past few seasons now, and Wenger hasn’t been able to halt that, be it by bringing in a world-class defensive midfielder, having a plan B against the top teams, or preventing second half capitulations when the captain goes off the pitch.

Arguably, Wenger has taken Arsenal as far as he can, and you sense that with his legacy in line for potential ruin, he could decide that enough is enough come May.
