Passed every test so far

The Blues have had everything thrown at them during December as they slowly became the team to beat in the Premier League.

And they have passed every test so far.

They trailed at home to Tottenham and away at Manchester City earlier this season, but on both occasions stayed in the game and then punished the opposition with breath-taking second half displays.

Stoke refused to go away despite twice falling behind on New Year’s Eve, but Chelsea were able to step it up a gear to win 4-2 in the end.

Their 1-0 wins over West Brom, Sunderland, and Crystal Palace were indicative of a side winning when not necessarily at their best, but they still found a way past three solid defences on those occasions.

Just when it looks like they might drop points or one side may get the better of them, they have turned it up another notch.

Spurs will be a tricky game for them tonight but, based on what they’ve done so far, you’d expect them to pass another test at White Hart Lane this evening.
