3 reasons why Tottenham will beat Manchester City this evening

Kane, Eriksen, Alli are flourishing

In their six-game winning run, Dele Alli, Harry Kane, and Christian Eriksen have scored a combined 15 goals, and have also provided six assists.

When these three are playing as they are, there aren’t many better frontlines in the Premier League.

England international Alli had a sensational breakthrough season last time out, netting ten times in the league, but he has already matched that this term, suggesting that he is actually better now than he was last season.

Compatriot Kane has scored six goals in his last four games, and is on a high after a hat-trick against West Brom, and indeed the birth of his daughter a few days before that.

And Eriksen has improved dramatically over recent weeks after a comparably slow start to the campaign. The Dane has laid on four assists in his last four games, and it was his brilliant crosses which allowed Alli to twice head past Thibaut Courtois in their win over Chelsea on January 4.

Clearly, this trio is irrepressible at the moment and, against a City defence which has struggled for several weeks now, they will cause them many problems and create several opportunities.
