3 reasons why Tottenham will beat Manchester City this evening

Will get at shaky City backline

Pochettino has already got one over Guardiola this season, as Spurs ended the City manager’s winning start to life in England with a 2-0 win back in October.

And who’s to say that the Spurs boss won’t do so again this evening?

City are in a worse state going into today’s game than they were when they faced Spurs last time, yet the North London side outplayed the Citizens, as Pochettino’s men pressed high and gave them little time on the ball, as well as using his full-backs Kyle Walker and Danny Rose to good effect.

Now, with Spurs on fire going forward and City hopelessly poor at the back, Pochettino’s side will relish the chance of getting at the Citizens’ back line, who will quite simply have to improve upon last weekend’s debacle at Everton.
