Last month, Bob Bradley said he was confident of keeping Icelandic midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson at Swansea.

However, he has now been fired and the Swans have continued their slump in form to sit rock-bottom in the Premier League table.

With yet another new manager needing to come in and increase their low morale, relegation looks inevitable.

Therefore, the club’s stars such as Sigurdsson may be looking for a way out in January.

The 27-year-old has everything that Everton need in the centre of the park. Ross Barkley has been poor this year, but Sigurdsson can perform well week in, week out.

His passing is second to none, he is a sharp shooter from set pieces and can run with the ball too.

Having him as an attacking midfielder could complete the Everton side. Koeman will have to be prepared to part with a lot of cash, the midfielder is by far Swansea’s key man, but given the Welsh side’s predicament, it could well come off.
