Ayew has been a hit with the Swans

Having lit up the early stages of the season since his move to the Premier League, Ayew is a big hit with football fans in England. He won the award back in 2011, becoming the first son of a former winner to collect the award, after his father Abedi ‘Pele’ Ayew became the fist man to collect it in 1991. He scored his only goal of the Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana’s opening game loss to Senegal, however they went on to reach the final where they lost to Ivory Coast on penalties.
