Arsenal are reportedly leading the chase to sign Armenia international star Henrikh Mkhitaryan this summer, according to The Sun.
The Premier League side, who pipped North London rivals Tottenham to second place in the English top-flight on the final day of term, have been heavily linked with a move for the Borussia Dortmund winger ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.
The 27-year-old, who has 59 international caps for his country, scored a remarkable 23 goals and provided 32 assists in 52 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit last season.
Mkhitaryan, who has one year remaining on his current deal with the German side, is also interesting Premier League rivals Chelsea and Tottenham.
However Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is determined to land the Armenian ahead of the Blues and Spurs, adding to the £30m he has already splashed out to land Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach this summer.
The report suggests Mkhitaryan could cost around the £20m mark.
