Arsenal and Chelsea stars shine but who tops the 5 PL players of the week?

2. Junior Stanislas (Bournemouth)

AFC Bournemouth Junior Stanislas

The Cherries were rampant as they scored six past Hull City with winger Stanislas popping up twice on the scoresheet.

The former England youth international nearly opened the scoring after just five minutes when his free-kick struck the post, only for Charlie Daniels to convert the loose ball.

Ryan Mason equalised after the ball took a wicked deflection off Steve Cook, but the former Brighton defender was on hand to restore Eddie Howe’s side’s lead after he headed home Stanislas’ free-kick.

The 26-year-old then grabbed two goals for himself, firstly from the spot before the break, then with a tidy finish at the far post from Adam Smith’s ball after the interval.

There was still time for Callum Wilson and Dan Gosling to get in on the act as Bournemouth recorded their biggest ever top flight victory.
