Arsenal and Liverpool could reportedly be on alert after learning Spanish forward Jese Rodriguez is available this summer, according to Marca (via The Sun).

The Premier League duo, who face each other at the Emirates Stadium in their respective 2016/17 English top-flight campaign opener on August 14, have both been linked in the past with wanting to sign the Real Madrid winger.

The 23-year-old, who is a former Spain Under-21 international, scored six goals and provided eight assists in 38 appearances in all competitions for the La Liga giants last season.

Jese, who has been with the Bernabeu outfit since he was just 14, is set to leave Madrid this summer after becoming frustrated with his lack of first-team opportunties.

The report suggests that the Spaniard has asked to leave the club, with manager Zinedine Zidane set to allow his wish, although the Frenchman would rather see Jese leave the Bernabeu on loan.
