Arsenal and Tottenham are both reportedly lining up January moves for Italy full-back Alessandro Florenzi.

The Premier League rivals, who currently sit joint-first and fifth in the standings this term respectively, have been scouting the AS Roma defender ahead of the forthcoming January transfer window.

The 24-year-old, who has 13 international caps to his name, has scored three and assisted two goals in 15 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A outfit so far this season.

However the versatile Florenzi; who can also operate anywhere along the midfield, is also drawing New Year interest from European champions FC Barcelona, who see the Italian as Dani Alves’ long-term successor at the Nou Camp.
