North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are set to go head-to-head this summer in their attempts to sign Portugal youth international Domingos Quina, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Premier League title contenders, who currently sit third and second in the standings respectively, 11 and five points adrift of surprise league leaders Leicester City, are both interested in snapping up the former Chelsea midfielder.

The 16-year-old; who has featured six times for Portugal’s Under-17 squad, scoring a remarkable seven international goals, quit the defending English top-flight champions after reportedly becoming frustrated at a lack of opportunities to make progress towards the first-team frame.

Quina, who arrived at Stamford Bridge as a 13-year-old after leaving Benfica in his home country, was regarded as one of the best young talents at the club.

But after leaving the Blues in frustration, both Arsenal and Spurs are looking to reap the benefits by landing the highly-rated playmaker and lure him to the Emirates Stadium or White Hart Lane.
