Arsenal eye £22m January move for Belgium striker

Arsenal are reportedly eyeing a £22m January move for Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi.

Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has been widely criticised for failing to sign an attacker during the summer transfer window, especially with the news that Danny Welbeck has been ruled out for a further three to four months through injury.

The North London outfit will now target a forward in the New Year, and the Frenchman has been impressed by the form of the Belgium international, who has scored three goals in five matches for l’OM this term.

The 21-year-old has netted 12 times in 31 Ligue 1 appearances in total since making a move from Standard Liege in 2014.
