Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Championship starlet Oliver Burke, according to The Sun (via the Daily Express).

The Premier League giants, who currently sit third in the English top-flight standings after defeating West Brom 2-0 on Thursday night in London, have registered an interest in Nottingham Forest’s highly-rated winger ahead of the forthcoming summer transfer window.

The 19-year-old, who made his senior international debut for Scotland back in March against Denmark, has scored two goals and provided one assist in 19 appearances in all competitions for Forest so far this season.

England internationals Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be sold by the Gunners once the current 2015/16 campaign has concluded, with the report suggesting that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has identified the Football League star as a potential replacement for the outgoing duo.

Burke has been in good form for interim boss Paul Williams’ Championship side this term, with Gunners chief scout Steve Rowley said to be closely monitoring the youngster.

Oliver Burke is a very promising young Talent and we highly welcome him to Arsemal , But so were Wlacott and Chamberlain when they joined Arsenal . Still the two of them are outstanding players , but never had the right guidance from Arsne wenger , Wenger himself said after ten years still he doesn’t know the right position of Walcott , one week wenger plays him as a winger and other week as a striker . The same with Chamberlain sometimes playing him as a winger other times as a central midfielder and Wenger confused those two players and he is having the same problem with Ramsie and poddibly Gibbs all those players played for the national teams and now they are losing their places. Chamberlain is wanted by the Guardiola the best manager to join him at Manchester City , While more than four premier league clubs among them Manchester United and Liverpool are looking closely at the situation of Walcott. That should make Arsenal think carefully not to sell them and give them a chance hopefully under a new manager who is a footballer more than a professor of Economics Psychology but does not have plan B in football.
