Arsenal are reportedly ready to let out of contract trio Mikel Arteta, Tomas Rosicky and Mathieu Flamini leave next summer.

The midfielders, who are aged 33, 35 and 31 respectively, are no longer regulars in the Gunners’ starting XI, and manager Arsene Wenger is now ready to look to the future.

Rosicky has endured a number of injuries during his career in North London, and is yet to play a minute of first-team football this season, while Flamini would be missed as he is known to be a big presence in the dressing room.

Arteta, who has made two appearances this term, is the club captain, but the emergence of Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla in that position has cast his future into doubt.
