Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool will have to splash out a whopping £35m if they want to land France international star Moussa Sissoko this summer, according to the London Evening Standard.

The Premier League trio, who all finished in the top eight of the English top-flight standings last term, have been linked with a move for the Newcastle United midfielder following Rafael Benitez’s side’s relegation to the Championship back in May.

The 26-year-old, who has 44 international caps for his country and starred for France as the hosts reached the final of EURO 2016 on Sunday night, scored one goal and provided eight assists in 39 appearances in all competitions for the Magpies last season.

Sissoko, who featured for France as they lost 1-0 to Portugal in extra-time inside the Stade de France at the weekend, is in-demand this summer following his impressive displays at the finals.

The report suggests that relegated Newcastle have slapped a sensational £35m price tag on the powerful central midfielder, who has been linked with the Gunners, Spurs and Reds in the past.

Newcastle’s valuations of Sissoko and Wijnaldum suggest they have a team of world beaters. Let me take one more look at that League table!!

So dn’t buy him then! You think the valuation of a player is directly proportional to the League he’s playing in? or just maybe his “perceived” value? If Pogba is worth 100M (and he was significantly outplayed by Sissoko throughout much of the tournament), 35M seems reasonable by comparative valuation, ne c’est pas?
