The third round of the EFL Cup gets underway this week as the final crop of Premier League clubs are bought into the mix. Whilst for some managers it is more of a distraction, to others it another chance at glory and an opportunity to see what your whole squad can do.

Two time winners, Arsenal, begin their League Cup campaign with a trip to Championship side, Nottingham Forest off the back of three consecutive Premier League wins and a hard-fought draw at Paris Saint Germain in their opening Champions League game.

Being in the midst of a busy few weeks for his side, it would be expected that Arsene Wenger will make changes on Tuesday night in order to keep his side fresh and offer others in his squad a chance to impress and force their way into his thoughts for games in the Premier League and Champions League.

The Frenchman brought a number of fringe players into the first team training session on Monday morning, whilst key players such as Alexis Sanchez sat out.

With that in mind, here are THREE players that we here at Shoot! reckon should be given their chance at the City Ground.
