Arsene Wenger must improve these 3 things at Arsenal in January

Forward options

Alexis Sanchez has been a revelation playing through the middle for Arsenal but, with just Olivier Giroud and the unproven Lucas Perez making up Arsenal’s forward options, this might be something Wenger needs to address.

Sanchez’s five goals, including the crucial equaliser against PSG last month, have inspired Arsenal to this great start, but there might become a point whereby he is struggling in front of goal, and it’s then up to others to lead the line.

The Gunners have been keeping an eye on FC Porto’s Andre Silva, who scored a hat-trick for Portugal the other night, and Genoa’s Leonardo Pavoletti in recent weeks, and Wenger may feel that he needs to bring one of these forwards in to improve his side.
